The Quantum Consortium
Established in 2006, Quantum is one of just 108 organisations across the country selected to deliver the Homes and Communities Agency’s affordable housing programme.
The Quantum Consortium is made up of three developing members: East Midlands Housing (lead investment partner), Derwent Living and Futures Housing Group - together with four partner members - Advance Housing Association, Foundation HA, Wellingborough Homes and Rockingham Forest HA.
Each of the development members are already established as a leader in its own specialist field:
- East Midlands Housing Group is a leading regional housing provider actively working to support sustainable communities, is the lead investment with the Housing Corporation and as such is responsible for overall management of the consortium's programme.
- Futures Housing Group is a social business providing homes and neighbourhood services across the Midlands.
- Derwent Living is a provider of affordable homes, city living and student accommodation.
In 2006-2008 all key performance targets set by the Housing Corporation were met, resulting in the continued acceptance of EMH as lead investment partner for the 2008-2011 programme. In the 2008-2011 bid round the Quantum Consortium members collectively secured over £13M of Housing Corporation (now the Homes and Communities Agency) funds with negotiations for further funding on-going to enable delivery of hundreds of new affordable homes.
